Vecindo ("we", "us") operates the vecindo.com platform. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Information We Collect

Account data (email, display name) when you sign up. Business listing data you provide as an owner. Reviews, flags, and other content you submit. Anonymous analytics events (page views, clicks) to help business owners understand listing performance. Push notification subscription tokens if you opt in. We do not collect precise GPS location — proximity features use your browser's geolocation API only when you explicitly grant permission, and coordinates are never stored on our servers.

How We Use Your Data

To operate and improve the platform. To send transactional emails (ping reminders, review alerts) via Resend. To deliver push notifications you opted into. To display aggregated, anonymous analytics to business owners. We never sell your personal data to third parties.

Cookies & Storage

We use essential cookies for authentication (Supabase session). We use localStorage for language preference and notification dismissal state. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising pixels.

Third-Party Services

Supabase (database and authentication, hosted in South America). Resend (transactional email delivery). Stripe (payment processing for business subscriptions). Google Maps (business import and map display). These providers process data according to their own privacy policies.

Your Rights

You can update or delete your account at any time from your profile settings. You can unsubscribe from push notifications through your browser settings. To request a full data export or deletion, contact us at hola@vecindo.com.
